The Package

Production

During the production of our short film, we had to film certain shots out of order to make this task easier for us.

we first filmed the establishing shot outside reception which sets the scene for where this film is taking place. We then went inside reception and filmed the first act which introduced the viewers what the film is about since it was right inside and didn't take long to get there. We originally filmed the scenes that took place in reception on the first day of filming but we had to re-film as i had my hair dyed and this would have been a major continuity error. 

Post Production

While in post production our crew split up into  2 groups, so 2 people per group would work on editing the film as we wanted to have a turn to try and edit. The groups were Loris and Jake, Maddie and Zoe.  my group made sure the clips ran smoothly and hopefully we wouldn't bump into any continuity errors but we unfortunately did but we weren't surprised as this would be expected. i chose the music which was Royalty (Non-Copyright) free so we were allowed to use it

Continuity

We did discover a few errors during post production; the first continuity error we faced was during the scene in the computer room, we filmed a close up view of me grabbing and reading the secret note but then as we went to a long shot I was on the computer and not reading the note. This was only a few seconds long but it still had an impact on our video

Conclusion

In conclusion, if we had an extra 30 minutes of filming, we would've spent that time re-filming the computer room scene so we then wouldn't have a continuity error in our video
